Belz Architecture + Construction begins work on UT Academics Project

Belz Architecture + Construction has commenced work on a 10,000 sf project for UT Academics. The project is located on the 4th floor of the Medical Arts Building at 1325 Eastmoreland. The renovated office space will be occupied by approximately forty UT physicians, including both practicing physicians and teaching physicians. The project is on target for a May 14, 2010 completion date.

The "Design-Build" delivery method was selected for this project by the building owner (Methodist Lebonheur Healthcare).  Design-build is a system of contracting under which one entity performs both design and construction. This provides a single point of accountability, speeding up the overall design and construction process in a collaborative and seamless process.
